The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer brings the spirit of Grand Touring to the wrist, inspired by the pleasure of driving, technological innovation, and unforgettable journeys. Its sophisticated silver-grey dial features matching subdials, with a discreet grey small-seconds counter and light blue hour and minute hands that add a distinctive accent to the stopwatch display. Inspired by Seiko’s legendary 1972 “Panda” chronograph, the 42mm stainless steel case combines flowing lines and finely crafted details with a contemporary interpretation of classic motorsport design. Inside, Seiko’s automatic Caliber 8R48 also supports manual winding and delivers approximately 45 hours of power reserve, with 34 jewels and a chronograph capable of measuring intervals of up to 30 minutes and 12 hours. A date display and stop-seconds function add further everyday practicality. The double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating protects the dial while maintaining excellent clarity, and LumiBrite on the hands and indexes enhances legibility in low-light conditions. Measuring 14.6mm thick and 49.5mm from lug to lug, the watch offers a confident presence on the wrist, complemented by a refined grey cowhide leather strap and safety folding clasp.
