Little Treasury Jewelers Celebrates 30 Years of Craftsmanship, Connection, and Passion
Little Treasury Jewelers, a family business and Maryland staple, marks 30 years of resilience, relationships, and passion for meaningful moments.
GAMBRILLS, Md. — April 29, 2026 — Little Treasury Jewelers is one of the Mid-Atlantic’s premier independent luxury retailers. The company celebrates 30 years shaped not only by business growth, but also by the people and relationships at the heart of its story.
From Humble Beginnings to a Trusted Destination

The original Little Treasury pushcart
Linda Hammalian started Little Treasury in 1996 selling silver jewelry from a pushcart at Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie.
The business grew, moving to Arundel Mills Mall in 2000 where the business expanded to include fine jewelry. Subsequently, Steve and Linda made the move to their first Gambrills location in the Village at Waugh Chapel Shopping Center in 2002, and in 2010 made the final move to the location we know today.
From those early days, Little Treasury has grown into a destination for fine jewelry, vibrant gemstones, bridal jewelry, and both natural and lab-grown diamonds, offering pieces that mark life’s most meaningful moments.
A Business Built on Relationships
What has always distinguished Little Treasury Jewelers is not simply what it offers, but how it serves.
“Thirty years in business means seeing something we put our heart and soul into becoming more than a business,” the founders reflect. “It has become a legacy and a very rewarding part of life.”
That spirit shapes the Little Treasury experience—from custom design and craftsmanship to helping clients celebrate milestones with bridal jewelry, diamonds, and meaningful fine jewelry pieces, to the lasting relationships formed with generations of clients.
Many have become lifelong friends. For Steve, that same sense of connection extends naturally into the world of watches. As he often says, “I don’t collect watches—I collect watch collectors.”
The Watch Passion That Changed Everything
In 2007, Ball Watch became the first watch brand sold at Little Treasury—Steve’s first retail sale ever.
What began as a new venture became a defining part of the company’s identity, sparking a lasting passion for horology and fostering friendships. The store now carries over 30 watch brands as an authorized dealer and is a national destination for watch enthusiasts.
That passion led to the creation of The Escapement in 2023, a gathering place for collectors, conversation, and shared enthusiasm.

This October 2026 also marks the 14th year of Time Out, the store’s signature watch event, established in 2012 as a tradition around shared passion. As Steve says: “Events have always been about more than showcasing watches—they’ve been about bringing people together.”

Looking Toward the Next Chapter
While reaching the 30-year milestone in 2026 is worth celebrating, for Steve and Linda, it also feels like a beginning.
Their focus remains what it has always been:
-
Continue growing thoughtfully
-
Deepen client relationships
-
Serve future generations
-
Create new opportunities through education, partnerships, and local involvement.
And they are quick to credit the people who made it possible. “We’ve never done this alone,” they say. “We’re incredibly grateful for our staff, whose dedication has helped shape Little Treasury into what it is today.”
Because even after thirty years, the heart of Little Treasury Jewelers remains unchanged: Helping people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments with beauty, craftsmanship, and trust.
Here’s to 30 years — and the next chapter ahead.
