The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer draws inspiration from Garage Life, celebrating the character of classic automobiles and the stories behind them. Its 39.5mm stainless steel case, finished with a super-hard coating, combines a compact, comfortable profile with the robust character expected from a Prospex timepiece. The blue-grey dial and black embossed leather strap echo the materials and textures found in historic vehicle interiors, from classic seats to dashboards, while LumiBrite on the hands and indexes provides excellent legibility. A particularly useful feature is the internal rotating bezel with a countdown function, allowing you to conveniently monitor everything from a race start to the duration of a pit stop. Powering the watch is Seiko’s automatic Caliber 6R55, which also supports manual winding, features 24 jewels, and offers an impressive approximately 72-hour power reserve. The domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating provides excellent protection and clarity, while the stop-seconds function allows for precise time setting. Measuring just 12mm thick and 44.5mm from lug to lug, the watch delivers a balanced presence on the wrist and is water resistant to 200 meters.
