The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer 145th Anniversary Limited Edition Solar – HBJ005 celebrates 145 years of Seiko watchmaking with a design inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Tokyo. Limited to just 8,000 pieces, this exceptional Prospex creation features an elegant Edo purple dial, a color reflecting the aesthetic traditions of Edo-period Tokyo and the city’s enduring spirit of creativity and innovation. The design is complemented by a distinctive bi-color aluminum tachymeter bezel inspired by iconic Speedtimer models from the 1960s and 1970s, creating a refined connection between Seiko’s historic designs and contemporary watchmaking.

At its heart, the HBJ005 is powered by Seiko’s V192 solar movement, offering approximately six months of operation when fully charged and an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. The chronograph measures up to 60 minutes in precise 1/5-second increments and includes a power reserve indicator, 24-hour hand, date display, small seconds, and overcharge prevention.

The 41.4mm stainless-steel case is finished with a curved sapphire crystal featuring inner anti-reflective coating, while LumiBrite hands and indexes provide excellent visibility. With 100-meter water resistance, magnetic resistance, and a secure three-fold clasp with push-button release, the HBJ005 combines practicality, heritage, and distinctive style in a memorable limited-edition timepiece.
