PAULiN OH No Red Quartz

The PAULiN OH No Red Quartz is a vibrant and playful timepiece born from a collaboration with the San Jose type foundry OH no, inspired by a shared passion for typography and the “Obviously” font that defines PAULiN’s identity. First introduced at San Francisco’s Wind Up Watch Fair, the watch celebrates California’s rich design heritage with a bold red-pink dial drawing cues from local icons such as Sister Corita Kent and Saul Bass.

Departing from the uniform geometry of the original Modul, the dial features OH no’s free-form, interlocking numerals, with exaggerated emphasis on 12, 3, 6, and 9. This distinctive layout combines creativity with playful legibility, giving the watch a unique and expressive character.

PAULiN powers the OH No Red Quartz with the Swiss-made ETA F06.105 movement, customized with intricate laser-etched decoration. The 35mm stainless steel case, just 8.2mm thick, paired with a premium machined sapphire box crystal, ensures a comfortable fit across a wide range of wrist sizes.
