PAULiN OH No Red Automatic

The PAULiN OH No Red Automatic is a bold and playful expression of design, born from a collaboration with the San Jose type foundry OH no. Celebrating a shared passion for typography and the “Obviously” font central to PAULiN’s identity, this timepiece was first unveiled at San Francisco’s Wind Up Watch Fair, reflecting creativity and Californian design heritage.

Its vibrant red-pink dial draws inspiration from local design icons such as Sister Corita Kent and Saul Bass, while OH no’s free-form, interlocking numerals break from the uniform geometry of the original Modul. With exaggerated emphasis on 12, 3, 6, and 9, the dial combines artistry with a playful challenge to legibility, creating a dynamic and distinctive wrist presence.

At the heart of the watch, PAULiN equips the OH No Red Automatic with the Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G101 movement, visible through an exhibition caseback. The 39mm stainless steel case, just 9.7mm thick, paired with a premium machined sapphire box crystal and pronounced crown, ensures comfort across a wide range of wrist sizes. Completed with a striking blue fabric strap, this watch blends expressive design, mechanical excellence, and everyday wearability into a confident, statement-making timepiece.
