The Monkey King: Uproar in Heaven or Sun Wukong is a mythical figure from 16th century Chinese classic novel Journey to the West. In the story the Monkey uses a red pillar with golden tips that he shrinks to use as a staff to fight his enemies hence the red second hand with a golden tip.

Oris chose the Aquis to honor this legend. To express how fast the Monkey King spins in battle, the designers abstracted the form, adding repeating flashes of blue that diminish and return in size and color to suggest constant motion. The watch features a stainless steel case with a ceramic bezel, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside and a stainless steel bracelet with folding buckle. The case back is engraved with an image of the monkey King and the screw down crown provides 300m of water resistance. The Oris 733 movement inside this watch delivers a power reserve of 38 hours. This reference is limited to just 2000 pieces.
