The Fears Brunswick 38 ‘Charcoal Rose’ is a modern expression of refined elegance, hand-built in Britain in small batches with meticulous care. Its 38mm cushion-shaped case, crafted from 316L stainless steel, is polished to a level typically reserved for precious metals, with flowing curves that catch the light beautifully. The bespoke onion-shaped crown, signed with the Fears Cypher, adds a touch of character and tradition while enhancing the watch’s daily winding ritual.
The dial showcases a rich interplay of tones and textures, inspired by vintage Fears designs. A granular charcoal surface forms the backdrop, contrasted by a sunken sub-seconds register and guilloché minute track finished in 18ct rose gold. The hand-applied Edwin numerals, also plated in rose gold, are diamond-polished to gleam with depth and dimension, while Fears-shaped hands, finished in rose gold with a contrasting black seconds hand, ensure perfect legibility.
Inside, the Swiss-made La Joux-Perret D100 manual-winding movement delivers precision with a 50-hour power reserve, beautifully decorated with blued screws and Côtes de Genève finishing. The watch is fitted with Fears’ bespoke stainless steel 5-link bracelet, a masterpiece in itself. With solid, screw-secured links finished in alternating brushed and polished surfaces, it offers both durability and a fluid, comfortable fit on the wrist. A butterfly clasp, discreetly adorned with the Bristol flower, secures the bracelet while quick-release spring bars allow for effortless strap changes.
Individually numbered and presented in the elegant Amos Box, the Brunswick 38 ‘Charcoal Rose’ embodies Fears’ timeless craftsmanship and contemporary sophistication.
