The Carl Suchy & Söhne Belvedere Danube combines refined Austrian elegance with contemporary sportiness, inspired by the deep blue waters of the iconic Danube River. Its striking blue lacquered dial features an integrated concave flange, rhodium-plated indexes, and skeletonized Dauphine hands filled with Super-LumiNova® for excellent legibility. A distinctive jumping date window shifts position every 24 hours, bringing a dynamic touch of innovation to the watch’s sophisticated design. The 40.8mm case is crafted from pearl-blasted 316L stainless steel, complemented by a polished bezel, lugs, and caseback. A domed sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating and 100-meter water resistance make the Belvedere Danube equally suited to everyday adventures and more formal occasions. Inside, the automatic CSS201 Caliber, developed in collaboration with Dubois Dépraz, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides 42 hours of power reserve. Through the exhibition caseback, the decorated movement ring and gold-plated rotor can be admired, including a finely engraved detail of the Belvedere Palace façade. Completing the design is an integrated blue rubber strap with a textured inner surface and quick-release spring bars for comfortable, convenient wear. Swiss-made and individually marked with an engraved serial number, the Carl Suchy & Söhne Belvedere Danube arrives in a handcrafted velvet presentation case with a genuine leather travel pouch, designed in Vienna.
