The Alexander Shorokhoff Full Calendar Merkur AS.VK-MKR5 is a remarkable timepiece that combines innovative design with practical functionality. Named after the crater covered planet Mercury, the “Merkur” watch integrates a full calendar, displaying the date, day of the week, month, and moon phase. The central date hand, tipped in orange, indicates the day, while the day and month are positioned at 12 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, a lunar phase display shows the moon’s current phase, moving through its cycle of new moon, half moon, and full moon, represented by an orange disc.

The watch features a thoughtful color palette, combining rich green, warm gold tones, and vibrant orange in its calf leather strap and details. Inside, it houses the automatic caliber DD9000 by Dubois Depraz, with hand engraved rotor, blued screws, and 25 jewels, offering a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The stainless steel case with sapphire crystal on both sides ensures durability and a clear view of the intricate inner workings.

Measuring 43.5 mm in diameter and 11.55 mm in height, the Merkur is water resistant up to 50 meters. With only 31 pieces produced, this limited edition model is a true collector’s item, recognized as a Platinum Winner in the 2023 Architecture & Design Collection Awards.
