The Awake Son Mai Silver Leaf Atlantis Blue Limited Edition, captures the imagination with a dial inspired by the myth of Atlantis, suspended between light and darkness, myth and reality. Its captivating blue gradients evoke the mysterious depths of the ocean, guiding the eye toward the center in a hypnotic play of color and light. Modern and assertive by day, the dial transforms at night, revealing a subtle, almost mystical glow thanks to Awake’s exclusive luminous signature, inspired by the Japanese concept of chiaroscuro.

This striking visual effect is achieved through the centuries-old Vietnamese lacquer technique Sơn Mài, combined with delicate silver leaf and natural pigments. Each dial is handcrafted over more than ten hours, layering lacquer to produce a luminous, smoky-gradient finish reminiscent of the iconic “Vignette” dials of the 1970s and 1980s. The interplay of textures and shades reflects the transition from the comforting light of shallow waters to the mysterious darkness of the deep, creating a miniature landscape where every glance reveals a new discovery.

Housed in a 39mm recycled 316L stainless steel case with sapphire crystal and 50 meters of water resistance, the watch is powered by the Swiss La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement with a 68-hour power reserve. Awake enhances the movement with a custom tungsten rotor, expertly finished with sandblasted, polished, and micro-beaded surfaces, visible through the sapphire caseback.

Completing the design is a “Peacock” blue suede calfskin strap, handcrafted by master leatherworkers in Bouveret, France, offering suppleness, durability, and elegance.
