Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Solar – SSC915

The SSC915 Speedtimer Solar Chronograph is the latest addition to Seiko's Prospex Collection. It draws inspiration from Seiko's historic precision chronographs created for international sports competitions in 1964.

The SSC915 chronograph watch makes a bold statement with its eye-catching two-tone red and black aluminum tachymeter bezel, injecting a dynamic and athletic element into its aesthetic. Its 39mm stainless steel case is expertly brushed and polished, striking a harmonious balance between toughness and elegance. The black satin dial exudes sophistication and features a discreetly placed date window at 4 o'clock for added convenience.

Legibility is ensured by applied silver markers and LumiBright sword-style hands, all covered by a curved sapphire crystal. The chronograph function can measure up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments, accompanied by small seconds, a 24-hour sub-dial, and a power reserve indicator. The watch is powered by Seiko's in-house caliber V192, harnessing the power of light, be it ambient or direct sunlight, with an impressive 6-month power reserve, eliminating the need for frequent battery changes. A stainless brushed and polished 3-link bracelet, secured with a deployment butterfly safety clasp that can be adjusted in 5 positions for a secure and comfortable fit.
