The Seiko Astron GPS Solar Quartz Astron 50th Limited Edition, restricted to only 1,500 pieces, is a masterpiece of advanced technology and elegant design. This watch features the 5X53 caliber GPS solar movement with a precision of ±15 seconds per month without receiving a GPS signal. Its power reserve lasts approximately six months when fully charged, with a power saving mode extending to about two years. The movement includes 12 jewels and various functions such as overcharge prevention, power save, perpetual calendar (until February 28, 2100), world time (39 time zones), dual time, day display, power reserve indicator, time transfer, GPS signal reception (for time zone, automatic, and manual time adjustments), satellite acquisition status, reception result display, DST, in flight mode, and automatic hand position alignment.

The case, made of stainless steel with a super hard coating and ceramic bezel, measures 42.7mm in diameter, 13.5mm in thickness, and 50.0mm lug-to-lug, with a 21mm distance between lugs. It features a dual curved sapphire crystal with a super clear coating and LumiBrite on hands and indexes. The clasp is a three fold type with a push button release and a Smart Adjuster function.
