Grand Seiko Heritage Spring Drive – SBGA465

Grand Seiko’s SBGA465 is part of the Heritage Collection, housed in a 40mm stainless steel case that is 46.6mm lug to lug, with a curved sapphire crystal and screw down crown that provides 100m of water resistance. The Spring Drive 9R65 Caliber (assembled and adjusted by hand at the Shinshu Watch Studio) provides a smooth sweeping seconds hand with an astonishing precision of +/- 15 seconds per month, unprecedented for a watch powered by a mainspring. The beautiful movement provides 72 hours of power reserve, is anti-magnetic, and features a screw-in steel case back with the Grand Seiko Lion motif.

Grand Seiko is known for intricate dials and incredible casework utilizing Zaratsu polishing to create a mirror finish. This watch celebrates the arrival of winter in Shinshu – capturing the fleeting moment when frost forms on the trees, glistening in the powerful morning sun before melting away. The needle-sharp seconds hand, power reserve indicator, and framed date display provide useful information at a quick glance, allowing for the focus to remain on the stunning silver dial. This Grand Seiko comes on a three-link satin finished bracelet with a three-fold clasp and two half links to finely adjust the fit.
