In late April and early May, Iwate Prefecture's northern location offers a unique opportunity for hanami, the tradition of cherry blossom viewing. The U.S. Exclusive SBGW313 draws inspiration from this spectacle, featuring cherry trees in full bloom against the backdrop of snow-capped Mt. Iwate. Evolving from the 1967 44GS, the SBGW311 is a modern interpretation with contemporary practicality, equipped with a stainless steel bracelet and three-fold clasp. Crafted by the skilled artisans at Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, the watch houses the hand-assembled Caliber 9S64, a mechanical manual-winding movement with a remarkable 72-hour power reserve and an accuracy rating of -3 to +5 seconds per day. This timepiece seamlessly merges traditional aesthetics with precision engineering, embodying the essence of Grand Seiko's craftsmanship.
