The Big Crown Pointer Date was introduced in 1938 as a pilot’s watch. Its signature oversized crown was originally intended for gloved airmen but now serves a more aesthetic purpose, while the iconic pointer date function is now a iconic feature of Oris. This watch features black dial, a 40mm diameter stainless steel case, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside, a machined bezel with matching screw down crown, and a stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp.
