Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Grand Seiko’s groundbreaking Caliber 9R Spring Drive with the release of the SBGA499, a watch that marries innovation with the beauty of nature. Inspired by the breathtaking autumn sunrises over the Hotaka mountain range, this timepiece captures the fiery beauty of vibrant autumn leaves glowing under the golden morning sun. The striking bright red dial, with a copper pink recessed power reserve indicator, reflects the rich hues of the mountain’s foliage at sunrise, while the rose gold GS logo evokes the mesmerizing transition of autumn leaves. A delicate sunray finish ensures the dial catches light from every angle, revealing its full splendor.

Crafted with precision, the SBGA499 features a meticulously designed stainless steel case and bracelet, protected by a box-shaped sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface for a clear view of the dial. Measuring 40.2mm in diameter and 12.8mm in thickness, this timepiece offers both presence and comfort on the wrist. The secure three-fold clasp with a push-button release ensures easy wearability.

Driven by the Caliber 9R65, this watch combines the torque of a mechanical movement with the precision of an advanced electronic regulator, delivering an impressive accuracy of one second per day.
