THE BREMONT
2019 NEW YORK TOWNHOUSE
This year Bremont Watches once again chose a fabulous townhouse setting on Lafayette Street in NYC’s SOHO to preview this year’s releases. The townhouse was full of watch press, bloggers, authorized dealers and Bremont zealots. Guests circulated throughout the five story edifice enjoying drinks with Shackburgers from Shake Shack and fries. The place was rockin’ with a talented DJ doing his thing through the townhouse’s superb sound system (when not hosting an event it serves as a demonstration venue for McIntosh sound systems).

Bremont's 2019 Collection
The Armed Forces Collection
APPROVED BY HER MAJESTY’S ARMED FORCES
Bremont is proud to enter into a partnership with the Ministry of Defense (MoD) honoring Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. Through this partnership, Bremont is the sole luxury watch producer allowed to legitimately use the signs, symbols and Heraldic Badges of all three services. This marks the first time that civilians can purchase official Bremont Military timepieces. Consequently, Bremont is releasing a new military inspired range of watches incorporating the emblems of the Royal Navy, British Army and the Royal Air Force. The Armed Forces Collection draws inspiration from the original ‘Dirty Dozen’ watches, a series of timepieces commissioned for the British Army during World War II when Britain’s Ministry of Defense needed watches to issue to military personnel.
LIMITED EDITION ANNIVERSARY MARTIN-BAKER TIMEPIECE
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF WORKING WITH MARTIN-BAKER
10 years on from the launch of the Bremont MB range, born from a partnership with Martin-Baker which has not only become synonymous with the Bremont brand, but which celebrates pioneering British engineering, the luxury British watch company introduces the anniversary MBIII/10th GMT chronometer. The new white dialed MBIII, limited to only 310 pieces, has been designed and built to mark the 10th Anniversary since the release of Bremont’s first MB watch back in 2009. Martin-Baker, the British aviation company responsible for supplying over 70% of the western world’s Air Forces with fighter ejection seat technology, is at the very pinnacle of British engineering and innovation; the now-iconic Bremont MB range has redefined the aviation watch world.
THE NEW SUPERMARINE S300 WHITE
TO BE TESTED ON “PROJECT POSSIBLE: 14/7”
One man will embark on a record-breaking attempt to scale 14 of the world’s highest peaks, all of them over 8,000m. The previous attempt took over 7 years. If successful this will smash that record by completing the challenge in just 7 months. As a retired member of the Gurkhas and SBS, as well as being the current world record holder for climbing 3 of the 8,000ers in the fastest time ever recorded, Bremont ambassador Nirmal ‘Nims’ Purja MBE will embark on this challenge in March 2019 sporting the new Bremont S300 White. Nims aims to establish a paradigm shift in the perception of human potential, breaking more than 7 speed world records on mountains above 8,000m.
THE NEW BREMONT S2000
ULTIMATE DIVE WATCH
With a strapline of being ‘Tested Beyond Endurance’ Bremont has always prided itself on working with adventurers who test these mechanical British watches to the absolute extremes and often in the harshest environments on earth. From the very beginnings of the brand, in the 5 years of R&D it went through before launching the first Bremont watches on the market in 2007, the likes of Charley Boorman and Ewan McGregor were rattling around on ‘The Long Way Down’ testing prototype Bremont watches for durability, reliability and general robustness. Bremont has since been privileged to have worked with a host of talented and adventurous individuals who have helped reinforce its ambition of becoming the definitive watch of choice, whatever the challenge.
The original S2000 model, released in 2013, is the most technical professional dive watch in the Bremont range being able to withstand depths of up to 2000m. Having been used extensively by professional divers and the military alike, the over-engineered S2000 has proved its metal and some. 2019 marks the introduction of a refreshed design for the S2000 with the release of two new distinctive red and yellow models, replacing the original.
BREMONT UPDATES ITS
CHRONOMETER COLLECTION FOR WOMEN WITH THE
BREMONT SOLO-34
ELEGANT BRITISH TIMEPIECES. ANYTHING BUT PRECIOUS.
Bremont is refreshing its collection of ladies’ mechanical chronometers with the introduction of the new Bremont SOLO-34. Building upon the continued interest in the women’s range, the brand has redeveloped the elegant timepiece in a slightly larger 34mm case size.
The chronometer-rated SOLO-34 collection is built using beautifully polished stainless steel and boasts two different dial designs. The AJ line has the more modern aesthetic with applied index markers and named in honour of Amy Johnson, who flew her DH-60 Gypsy Moth from England to Australia in 1930. The addition of a mother-ofpearl dial is not only new to the women’s offering but is also something entirely new for the brand. Complementing this design is the classic and timeless LC timepiece with its elegant, applied Roman numerals adorning the dial. Named after Lettice Curtis, the SOLO-34/LC celebrates arguably the most remarkable female pilot of the Second World War who flew a wide range of military combat aircraft with the Air Transport Auxiliary and was the first woman to qualify to fly a four-engine bomber.
THE BREMONT SUPERSONIC
BREMONT MARKS CONCORDE’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW LIMITED EDITION.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of an aircraft both brilliant and beautiful, Bremont launches its eighth historical limited edition timepiece, the Bremont Supersonic, incorporating parts of one of the most famous and iconic planes in history – Concorde.
Ahead of her time in more ways than one, Concorde flew faster than a rifle bullet and halved the time of transatlantic crossings. Over 2.5 million British Airways passengers experienced flying eleven miles high at twice the speed of sound. This evocative civilian airliner completed more supersonic flying hours than the entire world’s air forces combined.
The Bremont Supersonic contains the manufacturer’s first ever manual wind movement which features an 8-day power reserve and has a power reserve indicator at the 12 o’clock position on the dial. The style of the timepiece is reminiscent of a 70’s look and feel with its sunburst white dial representing Concorde’s specially developed highly reflective paint. The blue hands of the Supersonic echo British Airways blue on Concorde’s famous livery and a subtle motif of the plane’s iconic silhouette can be seen on the second-hand sub dial.
